Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her work in her role in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' qui you are awestruck. Emeraude is also a talented dancer and model. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas since childhood, and always had a blast performing. Since she was a child she has been taught in various dance forms. At the age of 15 she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a household name during 2008, when she was a guest in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season, which is a Univision beauty contest show. In 2010, she began acting in a role as a receptionist in a Telemundo episode. In 2015 she starred in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
